Dear Members,Students and Parents

We would like to invite you and your children (over 5 years of age) to our first Nepali Bhasha Kakchya.

When:         Sunday, September 27
Time:          1:00pm – 3:00pm
Where:        Rosedale Public Library
6105 Kenwood Avenue
Rosedale, Maryland 21237-2097

We invite all parents and volunteers to come and support us with this grand opening of Nepali bhasha kakchya.  This is our Dashain gift to our children. We would like to kindly request parents to have their children wear Nepali dress  if possible.

We are going to need many volunteers and teachers to run this class twice a month on Sunday (bi-weekly). We invite anyone with an interest to teach or volunteer as a snack-person or as an assistant to the class-teacher. We will have a form (teacher & volunteer) for you to fill out when you come on Sunday. Based on your interest and qualification (teaching experience with kids), the school sub-committee will make a final selection of volunteer-teachers. We are planning to have more than one teacher. A typical class will consist of more than just the language instruction. A class will comprise of Nepali arts, music and other cultural introduction to Nepal and its people. BANA’s school sub-committee is working out the details of class curriculum.

Please contact Dr. Shyam Karki, Chair Person of Nepali School Sub-committee at nepal1975@yahoo.com  with any interest or question regarding Nepali bhasha kakchya. If you are a parent wanting to enroll your children to this class please email us the following information:
